Frank and Rosina immigrated to Canada in 1914. They settled in Spring Hill, Nova Scotia. The Kubista family also immigrated with them to Canada. All ended up in Rosedale, Alberta. The Kubista family all moved to Canmore. A few years later, Frank moved his family west to Rosedale, Alberta.

In 1918, Rosina died during the flu epidemic while giving birth to their son Joseph, who died three days later. 

Anna Kubicek moved to Canmore in the 1920’s and married John Arichuk. Together they had five children: Johnny, Jennie, Rosie, Dunna and Mary. In 1928 Tonie moved to Canmore and lived with Anna. She later moved to Jasper and eventually married Bill Brown and settled in Calgary. Rosie Kubicek moved to Canmore and married Steve Bacha. They had three children, Barbara, Francis and Betty.

Fred Kubicek and his wife Roxie had two sons Bob and Doug.

George Kubicek married Margaret Shellian and had two children, George and Cecilia.
