Lockdowns and Layoffs. Community Spirit. Gratitude.

What was it like to live in the Bow Valley during a pandemic?

Hear from local residents as they navigate the COVID-19 pandemic in the Bow Valley. They each share their challenges, fears, hopes, and lessons learnt during this unique time in history.

The #BowValleyLocals Stories of Resilience initiative is a story-gathering research project to capture images and histories of residents in the Bow Valley, AB, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project was brought to life by a collaboration between four local organizations in 2020/2021: Bow Valley Immigration Partnership (BVIP), artsPlace Canmore, Kristy Wolfe Photography and Canmore Museum. Special thanks to Community Connections in the Bow Valley.
