I came to this town to teach in the high school in the fall of 1968. The few old people who came here to this mining town were not excited to be here. As far as I was concerned, I simply loved it then, and now I miss it. So please give me back that small community with all its pot holes on the roads, miners picking up their mail after their shift, everyone saying “hi” to everyone on the main street, and all the room in the world to roam about, especially the old golf course.
