John and Rosalia arrived in the States in the early 1900’s. John and his cousin came to Canada. John came on to Canmore and Frank stayed to work at Hillcrest, Alberta. John and Rosalia had seven children: Frank (born in the United States), Elizabeth, Annie, Theresa, Peter, John and Mary. Rosalia was born in 1885 and died in February, 1928. John remarried, and, in 1939, left Canmore for the Ukraine.
